Africa Accelerating 2021

We look forward to joining The Canada-Africa Chamber of Business at their three-day Africa Accelerating event, October 26-28. The theme of this year's event is Canada’s Vital Role as a Committed Partner in Africa's Economic Restart after COVID-19.

The program includes financing options for all sizes of projects and business ventures, export support (in both directions) and cutting-edge analysis, including Canada’s latest policy approach to African markets and the African Union free trade agenda.

Cassandra Lee, Global Director, Pyrometallurgy, will represent Hatch on the panel discussion "Delivering the Global Electric Vehicles Revolution: The Vital Role of Africa" on October 26 at 10:00 am EDT. In the electric vehicles revolution, copper is a key enabler for a green and sustainable future. This session will explore the trends, opportunities and challenges working toward net zero emissions and Cassandra will provide an overview of our copper capabilities.
