Hatch recognized as top engineering supplier for major projects in Chile

May 18, 2016

The Chilean Ministry of Mining’s 5th annual ranking of all mining suppliers has named Hatch the top engineering supplier for major projects (CAPEX) in Chile. The awards are sponsored by the ministry and other local mining institutions to recognize major contributors for the development of mining projects.

Rankings are determined via client surveys and are conducted by the ministry.

The award ceremony took place on Thursday, April 28 as part of Expomin 2016, the largest mining trade show in Latin America, which is attended by 80,000 mining professionals.

With two offices in Chile—Santiago and Calama—Hatch has delivered projects for several of the region’s top mining clients, including the Sierra Gorda Molybdenum Plant, and Mina Ministro Hales project, both major copper and molybdenum operations.
