Forbes names Hatch one of the top employers in the country for the fourth consecutive year

February 5, 2020

Prominent business magazine Forbes has again recognized Hatch as one of Canada's Best Employers, naming us for the fourth consecutive year.

According to the report released on January 28, "Canadians have been enjoying a strong job market of late, with the unemployment rate hovering at 5.6% after reaching an all-time low of 5.4% earlier last year. While good news for employees, this environment has tested employers, challenging them to do more to attract and retain top talent."

"We're proud to once again be named one of Canada's Best Employers by Forbes. It means a lot to know that this ranking has been based on the opinions of the employees themselves. At Hatch, we feel we have the best team--a collection of great people who make a difference and share a common vision of creating positive change in the world. We believe it's that shared vision and a focus on our clients that allow us to have such a strong corporate culture and workplace," said John Bianchini, chairman and CEO, Hatch.

The ranking is based on a survey of 8,000 Canadian employees working for companies employing at least 500 people in their Canadian operations. Respondents were surveyed through anonymous online access panels and selected by gender, age, region, education level and ethnicity to be representative of Canadian employees in general. Since 2015, the magazine has partnered with market research company Statista to measure the leading employers around the country.
