Hatch recognized as one of the Best Chilean Companies
Santiago, Chile - Deloitte, along with its partners Banco Santander and Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, have announced their annual list of the Best Chilean Companies. The Best Chilean Companies program is the local version of Deloitte’s Best Managed Companies program, which is run in 16 different countries. This year, 44 Chilean companies were recognized.

More than 150 companies participated in the Best Chilean Companies program this year. A team composed of experts from Deloitte, Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, and Banco Santander evaluated the participants in four areas: strategy, capability, commitment, and financial results. The program aims to encourage the improvement of business standards and practices within the Chilean business community.
For Jaime Retamal, Deloitte partner and program leader, this instance "is an opportunity for self-assessment with respect to best practices in international management. During this third year, we are striving for companies with this seal to truly feel like they are part of a global category and celebrate the pride of being part of Mejores Empresas Chilenas (Best Chilean Companies), thus enhancing their positioning and helping them make better first impressions on their future clients, suppliers, banks, and environments with the assurance that they are a well-managed company."
Best Chilean Companies is a program that originated in Canada in 1993. Since then it has grown to become what is considered to be the largest business award in the country. In Canada, Hatch has been recognized as one of the Best Managed Companies for 12 consecutive years. In addition to Canada and Chile, the Best Managed Companies program is present in Germany, Australia, Belgium, China, Denmark, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Czech Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey and Sweden.
