Hatch positions for growth in Oil and Gas sector in Australia–Asia

June 7, 2016

Brisbane, Australia—Hatch is further strengthening its services and capabilities in the oil and gas sector to pursue new opportunities for growth in the Australia–Asia region.

Hatch recently appointed Lisa France, a former Queensland Assistant Minister for Natural Resources and Mines, to serve as the company’s natural resources director for Australia–Asia.  An environmental scientist by profession, France is leading the firm’s growth strategy for the natural resources business in the region.

“Hatch has assembled an amazing depth of knowledge over the past 60 years by solving the toughest challenges for our mining, energy, and infrastructure clients. This allows us to bring new solutions to the oil and gas industry through a global range of talent and our global response approach,” said France. “At Hatch, we are combining this knowledge and experience with our capabilities in asset management; operational performance; specialized engineering analysis and design; and environmental and stakeholder management to help drive improvements in our clients’ businesses.

Hatch is attending  the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA) 2016 conference in Brisbane, from June 5 to 8 (Booth #213), with technical specialists from Australia and Canada to discuss service offerings and industry issues.

“APPEA is an ideal platform for engaging with clients, peers, and other key stakeholders to discuss industry issues, regulations, and the latest innovations”, France added.   “We look forward to working with our clients to solve the challenges facing both them and our industry as a whole, and advocating for a sustainable future where oil and gas plays an integral role. That will be at the top of our agenda as we attend APPEA this year.”
