Québec Engineering Competition (QEC)

From January 30th to February 2nd, 2020, over 350 engineering students from 11 universities from across Québec will gather at Concordia University in Montréal, for the 36th edition of the Québec Engineering Competition (QEC).

The theme this year is “Montréal: Update in progress…”. Participants will challenge themselves by trying to find solutions to reduce greenhouse gases, developing a “Smart City”, and help plan for sustainable urban development.

Hatch will be a Diamond sponsor and will be represented by three judges - Marie Drinkwater, Julie Dontigny and Martin Gagnon-Dorval – during the reengineering competition. Hatch will be presenting the reengineering prize to the winning team.
