Stephane Raymond

Stephane Raymond is the global managing director of Technology at Hatch, where he leads more than 400 professionals responsible for custom process equipment, digital solutions, and technology-enabled innovation. As a board member he brings valuable insight into the technologies, delivery models, and client needs driving the future of the firm’s business. With 30 years of project experience, he combines technical depth with practical judgment in engineered equipment, operational technology, and industrial project delivery.

Since joining Hatch after graduating from Université de Sherbrooke with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Stephane has built a career solving complex client challenges and leading high-performing teams across global markets. His assignments in Québec’s northern territories, Germany, Malaysia, and Australia have given him a broad understanding of how Hatch delivers challenging projects across regions, cultures, and client environments.

His expertise includes project management, control system development and implementation, construction, commissioning, start-up, and plant maintenance on large-scale engineering, procurement, and construction management projects, including Cerro Matoso L2 Expansion, Alouette Phase 2, Qatalum, and Koniambo. This hands-on delivery experience gives Stephane a grounded perspective on project risk, execution discipline, operational readiness, and the decisions needed to deliver complex work safely and effectively.

Stephane has also contributed to governance and business leadership as a former board member of the Conseil du Patronat du Québec, serving from 2019 to 2023. As an active member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec, he brings a strong appreciation for professional accountability, sound judgment, and responsible leadership.

Stephane is committed to community engagement and has supported Hatch’s involvement with Centraide, the 24h Tremblant Challenge, and the Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal. Having lived and worked internationally with his wife and two daughters, he speaks English, French, and Spanish. With his blend of technical depth, global perspective, business leadership, and a commitment to people, Stephane contributes beneficial perspective to the board’s stewardship of Hatch’s growth strategy, client relationships, and long-term direction.
