Why do you believe in diversity and inclusion?
I believe everyone should feel valued and included equally. Teams that embrace diverse backgrounds, cultures, and perspectives solve problems more creatively and effectively. Working in a field where women are still the minority has shown me the importance of creating spaces where everyone feels they belong and are empowered to grow and thrive.
What do you think we need to do as individuals to improve inclusivity?
We need to be aware and empathetic, and willing to challenge our own assumptions. This begins with actively engaging and listening to different experiences, and reflecting on how our words, behaviors, and decisions may impact those around us. With this in mind, we should create spaces that support diverse conversations, meetings, and decision-making. Additionally, we should mentor and encourage speaking up when witnessing bias or exclusion.
What does positive change mean to you?
Positive change means learning from challenges, embracing diverse perspectives, and growing with the goal of making the world more inclusive, safer, and sustainable.
What do you think are the toughest challenges facing our clients?
Our clients face many challenges with the toughest including sustainability and decarbonization, market changes, and digital transformation.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud of the way I lead teams, trying my best to make sure that everyone feels included and inspired, particularly in a region where female representation is still on the rise. It makes me very proud that my colleagues recognize this and I have received this award this year.
What do you like most about working at Hatch?
What I appreciate most about working at Hatch is the genuine culture of teamwork and the recognition of everyone’s value. I have experienced not only professional growth but also a sense of belonging and support that fuels my passion and ambition for my work.
