Why do you believe in diversity and inclusion?

I believe in diversity because when people from different backgrounds and experiences come together, they bring fresh perspectives and unique ideas. This diversity of thought enables teams to tackle challenges from multiple angles, compare solutions, and ultimately achieve better outcomes.

I also believe in fostering an inclusive environment, one where everyone feels valued, respected, and heard. This kind of culture cultivates a proactive and engaged team.

Most importantly, diversity and inclusion reflect the reality of our interconnected world. Embracing them isn’t just beneficial; it’s essential.

What do you think we need to do as individuals to improve inclusivity?

I think we should provide everyone with equal opportunities and make it a priority to listen with empathy and openness.

What does positive change mean to you?

Positive change is important to me. It’s the key to unlocking a better, more compassionate world. As outlined in our manifesto, we are passionately committed to creating that world through the power of positive change. We believe that even small shifts in mindset can lead to a future that is fairer, kinder, and more sustainable for everyone.

What do you think are the toughest challenges facing our clients?

From my perspective, clients are navigating a complex landscape of challenges, from geopolitical and regulatory risks to the wide-ranging effects of climate change and the uncertainties surrounding the energy transition.

What are you most proud of?

What I’m most proud of is my personal growth, from a quiet early-career engineer to someone who can confidently speak in front of a crowd and lead a team. I’ve also had the opportunity to contribute to a variety of exciting projects and challenges, explore innovative ideas, and help drive positive change in the world.

What do you like most about working at Hatch? How do you think the Hatch culture is different from other companies?

What I value most about working at Hatch is the incredible team I’m part of. We collaborate closely, face challenges head-on, and continue to grow both individually and together. I’ve also appreciated the opportunity to connect with colleagues from diverse cultures and backgrounds; it’s been both enriching and inspiring.
