Hatch selected to support SEPTA's Silverliner VI rail vehicle procurement project
Philadelphia, USA — Hatch has been selected to support Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) with consultant support services for its Silverliner VI rail car procurement project, a major initiative to modernize the agency’s regional rail fleet and enhance the passenger experience across the Greater Philadelphia region.
The program will see SEPTA procure a new generation of electric multiple-unit railcars to replace its aging fleet, improving reliability, performance, maintainability, and accessibility for riders while supporting long-term operational efficiency. The Silverliner VI project includes the design, delivery, and integration of new rail vehicles with modern onboard systems and amenities.
