Hatch voted top consulting engineering graduate employer by Students Choice Awards
The Momentum Metropolitan Students’ Choice Awards are voted on by current students in corporate graduate programs. This year, there were more than 5,500 submissions from students across South Africa who were asked to list their top five employers based on their understanding of the graduate employment marketplace. The data was then evaluated and separated into 22 industry categories from which the top three companies in each sector were selected and invited to the awards presentation. The event, part of the GradStar Awards program, also featured South Africa’s top 100 students based on leadership qualities and readiness for the workplace.
“We are extremely pleased and proud to receive the Momentum Metropolitan Students’ Choice Award as South Africa’s No. 1 place to work in the engineering consulting field,” said Jabulile Sibanyoni, Hatch’s director of human resources, Africa, India, and Middle East. “This award recognizes our continued commitment to promoting and encouraging youth to pursue careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math and strongly aligns with our vision of creating a better world through positive change.”
The award comes just a few months after Pierre Oliver, Hatch’s regional managing director for the Africa, India, and Middle East region, joined more than 130 leaders of South Africa’s top corporations in signing a pledge to support and create positive change throughout the country.
