Hatch is one of Canada's best diversity employers

Hatch has been named one of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers for the second consecutive year. The competition is open to any Canadian company that participates in the annual Canada's Top 100 Employers competition, which is organized by Mediacorp Canada Inc. In November of 2021, Hatch was listed among the Top 100 Employers for the sixth consecutive year.

The Canada's Best Diversity Employers program showcases private and public companies that have exceptional diversity and inclusiveness programs. The competition recognizes successful initiatives in a variety of areas, including programs for employees from five groups: women; members of visible minorities; persons with disabilities; Indigenous peoples; and lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender/transsexual (LGBT) peoples.

“I've realized that as a female leader, I can influence a broad group of people and be a role model, which from my perspective is the most important part about leadership,” remarked Laura Twigge-Molecey, managing director of Transportation, and sponsor of Hatch’s diverse and inclusive design initiative. “Everyone has different life situations. The inclusivity part is important, especially when you’re part of a minority group. It helps you feel as if you’re part of the team.”
