Hatch is featured prominently in the newly released Deloitte report

Toronto, Canada—Hatch has been profiled in a new report published by Deloitte Private, “Global perspectives for private companies: Agility in changing markets,” which examines the results of their 2019 survey of private company leaders.

Deloitte surveyed 2,550 executives at mid-sized companies across 30 countries about their expectations, experiences, and plans for becoming more competitive in the current economic environment and found that—even as organizations acknowledge risks related to cybersecurity, trade, and other factors—private companies worldwide generally express high confidence about their future success, citing new products and services, high productivity, and business model innovation as their competitive advantage.

Hatch is featured prominently in the newly released report, celebrated for the company’s ability to adapt to market challenges and weather transformation, while also adhering closely to the guiding principles found in their Manifesto.

“We are who we are because of our private ownership structure,” he says in the report. “Our owners are the people doing the work every day. They have the closest connection to our clients. They have their ear to the ground and they give us direct feedback. And then we act on it. It’s one of our significant competitive advantages," said John Bianchini, Hatch’s chairman and CEO, in an excerpt from the report.

Along with the protection of a corporate culture that has consistently won Hatch awards as an employer of choice, Bianchini discussed Hatch’s decision to reorient its Infrastructure services in order to help their clients solve pressing their multidisciplinary challenges. He also commented on the investment in Hatch’s future with the launch of Hatch Digital.

"By combining these new technology solutions with our deep technical and business knowledge, it gives us the opportunity to help our clients make better business decisions,” Bianchini notes, adding. “But it’s also helping us reinvent the way we help our clients as well, from concept to engineering and through to procurement and construction."

With technical advances that will enhance products and services, incoming talent bringing fresh perspectives and strategies to tackle today’s toughest challenges, and a continued commitment to a strong corporate culture, it is clear that private companies like Hatch have the strong foundation needed to manage today’s dynamic competitive arena. John confirms this, stating, "Every service line and geography is growing at a very comfortable pace. We believe 2019 is going to be one of the best years in our company’s history."
