Christopher Heil, P.E. is an electrical engineer with nearly 15 years of experience in rail vehicle communications, networking, monitoring and diagnostics, and cybersecurity as well as rail signaling and computer programming. Chris has been heavily involved in positive train control (PTC) where he has aided in the implementation and deployment of PTC for multiple agencies. Chris’s experience also extends to new streetcars and development of new service lines for streetcars. Chris’s expertise with PTC systems, RF simulations and studies, RF field testing, networking, communications, diagnostics, security, computer programming, and embedded systems, has made him a valuable asset in rail vehicle procurement, wireless systems design, and developing custom software applications.
