Managing Director, Infrastructure

David Moran has achieved broad international success as a multi-disciplinary design and construction project manager. He has a proven track record in construction industry business management with extensive experience in the bidding, delivery, and governance of large-scale projects. David’s educational background in civil engineering and finance, coupled with thirty years of experience in the construction industry, have given him the expertise required to manage multi-billion-dollar projects for globally recognized companies.

David joined Hatch in 2016, taking on the role of Managing Director, Infrastructure, and is responsible for building Hatch’s infrastructure business in Australia. In his relatively short tenure with Hatch, David has overseen substantial growth of the business, particularly in public infrastructure. Hatch's infrastructure practice has achieved some substantial milestones such as the Independent Review of the Melbourne Metro Tunnel and the rail and civil design on the Cross-River Rail project, both of which are multi-billion-dollar projects.

When not in the office, David enjoys being outdoors. Some of his favorite activities include waveski surfing and trail walking–that’s Australian for exploring walking trails and forests!
