As cities invest in mobility and transportation, they improve the quality of life for their residents, reduce traffic congestion, and increase economic opportunities. Building a future-ready city
In late 2022, Hatch and ThoughtLab completed a ground-breaking study that examines how cities around the world plan to reinvent their urban environments to meet the post-pandemic expectations of citizens and other stakeholders. The study addresses the increasing need for resiliency, sustainability, inclusiveness, and economic development.
Key finding from the study
North American cities plan on investing $144 per capita on mobility and transportation investments over the next 5 years.
