Demonstrating our commitment to sustainability with ISO 14001:2015 certification

ISO 14001:2015 certificationToronto, Canada— Hatch is pleased to announce that the company has retained International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 14001:2015 certification for 2019 for its Mississauga offices, home to one of its global delivery centers.

ISO 14001:2015 certification confirms that Hatch’s approach to sustainable business practices, the implementation of proactive initiatives to prevent pollution and to protect the environment from harm, and the company’s commitment to continual improvement is effective.

“This ISO 14001:2015 certification of our Mississauga offices, home to our largest employee base of roughly 2,000 employees, is a testament to our company’s broad commitment to achieving our sustainability goals, both through our own actions as a company and in the work that we do in partnership with our clients. Ultimately, we are aiming to always build solutions that are sustainable, and which create long-term positive impacts,” said Al Leggett, Hatch’s global operations director, Environmental Services Group.

The ISO 14001:2015 certification is just the latest testament to Hatch’s commitment to sustainability. Hatch has previously committed to supporting the United National Global Compact Sustainable Development Goals and currently has a team participating in the inaugural Young SDG Innovators Program, an elite program that engages young professionals in a ten-month program to advance sustainability efforts, drive innovation, and create solutions that challenge the status quo.
