Hatch appoints mine-to-mill expert Dr. Walter Valery to deliver wins in operational performance

Brisbane, Australia—Hatch is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Walter Valery as Global Director of Mining and Mineral Processing Technology based in Australia–Asia. 

 
Valery is a mine-to-mill expert and an award-winning published author recognized for bringing a holistic approach to process optimization in the resources industry.
 
Specializing in integrated drill-and-blast, comminution, and flotation processes, Valery has a strong track record of reducing project operating and capital costs within a short payback period.  

“Dr. Valery’s experience and past research strengthens our processing technology and operational performance offering for clients who face new challenges in the current market,” said Guy LeClair, Hatch Managing Director for Australia–Asia.

Valery has a doctorate in dynamic simulations and has been Director of the Australian Minerals Industry Research Association since 2003.
