Abstract

Converging influences are forcing a reevaluation of prevailing methods in delivery and support of information technology and services in the EPC(M) industry. In order to stay competitive and attract new business, Hatch must respond and adapt. The response to these challenges must focus on achieving outcomes that are both innovative and cost-effective, yet yield a significant step-change to the business. Each of the three pillars of systems – tools, people and process – must be addressed. Our tools require right-shaping to meet the changing state of the industry, our people require right-shaping to better manage digital transformation, and our processes must be reshaped into service offerings that are relevant and cost-effective to our clients. This paper offers recommendations to achieve this.
