Hatch’s Joe Lombard, comments in the article, “At Hatch, we have a fantastic legacy through our founder, Dr. Gerry Hatch, whose values and philosophies drive our company today. For example, Dr. Hatch always stressed the importance of doing your homework and listening to the client, so that we really understand our clients’ needs and operations, and how we can add value.” The article was complemented with a full page ad, both introducing the new era of Hatch.

Companies are judged by a panel of experts from Deloitte, an international management consulting firm; CIBC, one of Canada's largest banks; Queen's University School of Business; and The National Post newspaper.
