Jordan has specialized experience in energy, climate, and sustainability strategy, and transaction advisory with over 14 years’ experience in the energy and advisory market. Prior to joining Hatch, Jordan worked as a Principal for the Boston Consulting Group in UK and Canada specializing in energy and private equity. He also worked at Shell in various process safety and operational excellence roles across North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. He is skilled in market modelling, competitive assessments, and business plan assessments. Jordan holds an MBA from INSEAD and bachelor of commerce from the University of Calgary.

Jim Sarvinis

With 30 years of experience, Jim Sarvinis has led the delivery of some of Hatch’s landmark metals and energy projects, culminating in his appointment to the board of directors as global managing director for energy.

Overseeing more than 1,500 professionals in the energy sector, his focus is on Power (hydropower and dams, nuclear, thermal, renewable power, power transmission and integration, energy storage, distribution and smart grid), and Oil and Gas (upstream, midstream, LNG, downstream and future fuels).

Jim has worked on numerous global projects, going to site for assignments in Canada, Colombia, South Africa, Zimbabwe, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Indonesia, and Australia. Leveraging his deep expertise, he progressed through consecutive director roles in fluidization technology, energy technologies, thermal and nuclear energy, and power.

Jason is the Business Director of Transit in Alberta. He is a project management professional and rail and transit systems subject matter expert who has planned and delivered major transportation infrastructure projects across North America. His 30 years of experience includes project and program management, advisory services, engineering and design, commercial contract development, as well as several years in construction and operational maintenance for a Class 1 railway.

Jason has worked through all stages of project and program life cycles, from initiation through to implementation and close-out, and in a variety of project delivery methods such as Private-Public Partnerships, Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build (traditional). He has a passion for developing highly motivated and efficient teams, which provides him with the ability to produce high quality technical solutions and deliverables for a variety of projects.
