Women in Stem

March 25, 2021

As Francesca Ottoni reflects on the past year, she notes that one of the challenges highlighted by the global pandemic is that women and girls continue to face disproportionate impacts. The same can be said about the workplace: women face very different challenges than men as they advance professionally, and this is compounded when women enter a market that has traditionally been male dominated. But Francesca is noticing that things are changing and believes the future for women in STEM is bright.

During her career, she has seen and felt it all. In her keynote speech, she will share some of the most common roadblocks she has seen get in the way of the careers of some of her female colleagues, friends, and mentors, as well as her own, and share lessons learned on how to overcome them.

Join us as we explore how to break habits shaped by institutional norms and become our own champions on our road to success.
