Engineers Australia - Newcastle Light Rail Project (Webinar)

Transport for NSW's (TfNSW) Newcastle Light Rail (NLR) system opened in February 2019 and consisted of a 2.4 km link between the heavy rail interchange and Newcastle Beach. Hatch LTK was engaged by TfNSW as the LRV Technical Advisor for this project.

Hatch LTK's Bruce Wooldridge, National Manager Rolling Stock, is shedding light on the project, focusing on LRV-engineered technologies including operability and maintenance considerations to enable catenary-free operation from energy stored on the vehicles, in a webinar on March 2, 2021, at 12:00 p.m. AEDT.
